Give your asset the right introduction.
For a sliding-head lathe, the complete production package matters. Guide-bush configuration, bar capacity, driven tools and material-handling equipment help explain what the next owner can produce.
What to send us
- Guide-bush or non-guide-bush configuration
- Bar capacity and any expansion kit
- Axis configuration and programmable B-axis where fitted
- Bar feeder make, model and bar length
- High-pressure coolant, extraction and long-parts handling
Keep bar feeder manuals, toolholder inventories and photographs of the guide-bush area with the machine details. Record cutting hours separately from power-on hours when both are available.
SPECIFICATION / CONDITION / SELLING ROUTE
Sell the complete Swiss-type production package
Citizen, Star, Tornos and other sliding-head lathes need an accurate configuration summary: bar capacity, guide-bush setup, axis arrangement and driven-tool equipment.
Photograph the working area and holders as well as the enclosure. Include the feeder, bar length, coolant, extraction and parts-handling equipment that stays with the machine.
State whether the machine is in production, idle or disconnected. Hours, materials processed, condition and maintenance history help frame an informed discussion.
Can I sell a machine while keeping the feeder?
Yes, state the intended package clearly. Any sale assessment needs to distinguish the machine from equipment you plan to retain.
Do you handle several sliding-head lathes together?
Send an equipment list with one line per machine and your production end dates. We can assess individual machines and a coordinated disposal plan.
