For Haas equipment, explain the installed options and the included package. A rotary-equipped machining centre should be described with the rotary model and control capability, not just the number of visible axes.

Haas VF, UMC and ST enquiries
For a VF-series machining centre, include the exact variant, travels, spindle and tool changer. A VF-2 with added equipment needs a different description from a base machine.
For a UMC, explain the rotary configuration, probing and any pallet or automation package. For an ST turning centre, describe sub-spindle, Y-axis and driven-tool capability where fitted.
If you are considering a new Haas, obtain an independent sale assessment alongside the part-exchange quotation. Compare the net cost, removal scope and machine release dates.
Does a rotary unit count as a 5-axis machine?
Describe the rotary model and enabled control options. Indexed positioning and simultaneous machining should be identified accurately.
Do you need to see it running?
Tell us whether it is still connected and available for inspection. Agree a safe demonstration with your operator; disclose any faults or missing equipment.
